Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a non-therapeutic cosmetic method for lightening and/or homogenizing especially the colour of the skin and/or lips, comprising the application, to the skin or lips, in particular the skin of the face and/or the shadows around the eyes, of at least one layer of a cosmetic composition comprising (i) at least non-interference scattering white particles, characterized by a volume-average size (D50) of between 0.3 and 40 muetaeta and a refractive index (Rl) of between 1.7 and 2.2, in a content greater than or equal to, preferably strictly greater than, 1 % by weight, with respect to the total weight of the composition, preferably from 2% to 12% by weight, with respect to the total weight of the said composition, and (ii)from 0% to 2% by weight of particles with a refractive index of greater than or equal to, preferably strictly greater than, 2.3.
