Zusammenfassung:	The device (20) has switching transistors i.e. insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) switches (T1, T2), mounted in parallel and in series with an inductor unit (L1) and another inductor unit. The transistors are mounted in parallel with free wheel diodes (D1, D2). A same switching control signal is addressed to a gate (G) of the transistors. Collectors (C) of the transistors are connected to each other. The transistors are mounted on a printed circuit board, and the collectors are connected with each other by a conducting material track deposited on the printed circuit board. An independent claim is also included for an induction cooking appliance.
