Zusammenfassung:The system has a bearing ring (9) surrounding a rotor of a turboshaft engine (2). Two retaining rings (14, 15) are allowed to laterally surround a carbon seal (10). An annular spacer is interposed between the seal and the rotor. A clamp (18) comprises an axially deformable annular zone (19) that laterally extends on each side of the clamp. A set of rigid sleeves (20, 21) is placed in abutment against the bearing ring and one of the retaining rings. An independent claim is also included for a turboshaft engine. Selon l'invention, le système de serrage axial (12) d'un joint carbone (10) monté sur le rotor (11) d'une turbomachine, qui comprend une bague de palier (9) entourant ledit rotor (11), deux bagues de maintien (14, 15) qui entourent latéralement ledit joint (10), une entretoise annulaire (13) intercalée entre le joint (10) et le rotor (11), et des moyens de serrage du joint (10), est remarquable en ce qu'il comporte en outre une pièce de serrage (18) comprenant une zone annulaire déformable axialement (19) qui se prolonge latéralement de chaque côté par un premier et un second manchon rigide (20, 21) destinés à être mis en appui, lors du serrage, respectivement contre la bague de palier (9) et contre l'une des deux bagues de maintien (15).
