Zusammenfassung:The method involves regenerating amine in a distillation column (1000), where the heat necessary for the operation of the distillation column is obtained from a geothermal source (3000) at a temperature between 30 and 200 degrees Celsius. A geothermal coolant (500) is introduced into the column when the temperature of the geothermal source is higher than 100 degrees Celsius, preferably higher than 130 degrees Celsius. An intermediate fluid is introduced into the column through a heat pump circuit (4000) when the temperature of the geothermal source is less than 100 degrees Celsius.
