Zusammenfassung:	The method involves emitting electric control signal to control a proportioning solenoid valve (22). Gaseous reducing agent i.e. ammonia, to be injected into an exhaust line (80) is heated using heat energy from the solenoid valve, by the electric control signal, where the solenoid valve is provided with an actuating coil to open and/or close the solenoid valve. The heating of the gaseous reducing agent is maintained till the gaseous reducing agent attains predetermined temperature. An independent claim is also included for a car.
