Zusammenfassung:	The device has first and second solenoid valves (33, 39) arranged along a reducing fluid pipeline (31) connected upstream of a storage device and downstream from a catalyst, where the device meters a set volume of reducing fluid to be injected by implementation of an opening and closing sequence of the valves. The sequence comprises a first solenoid valve opening phase (A) in which the second solenoid valve is closed, a first solenoid valve closing phase (B), a second solenoid valve opening phase (C) in which the volume of liquid is injected, and a second solenoid valve closing phase (D).
