The fibrous structure is manufactured by three-dimensional weaving, and has a main part (12) and an edge (14). The edge has an end part (18) and an intermediate part that is inserted between the main part and the end part. The intermediate part is connected with a first side of the main part via a first preformed fold (20) and a second side, which is opposite to the first side, via a second preformed fold. The edge is configured to be folded according to preformed folds. The fibrous structure (10) comprises a matrix reinforced by a fibrous structure. The fibrous structure is manufactured by three-dimensional weaving, and has a main part (12) and an edge (14). The edge has an end part (18) and an intermediate part that is inserted between the main part and the end part. The intermediate part is connected with a first side of the main part via a first preformed fold (20) and a second side, which is opposite to the first side, via a second preformed fold. The edge is configured to be folded according to preformed folds so that the intermediate part and the end part form a support and a counter-flange. The first and second preformed folds are formed by first and second angles of preformed folds. The first angle of preformed fold is preformed with a value of 90-180[deg] , and the second angle of preformed fold is preformed with a value of 0-180[deg] . Independent claims are included for: (1) a composite part; and (2) a process for manufacturing a composite part.
