A speaker (4) of a vehicle information system generates noise in phase opposition with the noise present in a vehicle passenger compartment to limit or cancel the compartment noise. The controller is programmed such that information is dynamically and progressively updated in the tables, where calibration is performed as a measure of use of the vehicle.
