The vehicle has a pivoting side door (1) pivoted along a vertical axis (3) integrated with a front part (2a) of a sliding side door (2). The pivoting side door is inserted in an opening (4) formed in the front part of the sliding side door. The vertical axis of the pivoting side door is arranged close to a rear edge (4a) of the opening. The pivoting side door is moved from an opening position of a single unit toward a pivoted position in which the pivoting side door provides access to a rear seat or a rear storage space of the vehicle.
