The burner has a distribution device comprising a wrapping tube wrap section close to that of an external body of the burner. A central tube is concentric with a wrapping tube (14). A central injection zone and a peripheral diffusion zone are formed, so that one of two sectors (9) located at supply side is in truncated form limited by radial partitions (15) connecting a cone section to the central tube and other sectors (11) feed the peripheral zone. The distribution device is molded in a refractory material such as heat-resisting steel, cordierite or silicon carbide. L'invention concerne un dispositif de distribution des gaz permettant de régler en cours de fonctionnement la distance entre le nez du brûleur et la zone de combustion sans modification notable des conditions d'alimentation en air ou en gaz combustible. L'adoption de ce dispositif devrait faciliter le réglage des fours, réduire les hétérogenéités de cuisson et donc la consommation globale d'énergie.
