Zusammenfassung:	The method involves determining an alarm threshold from an altitude of an aircraft (AC) during emission of a first type alarm i.e. traffic advisory alarm, and a setpoint altitude level. An activation level threshold is obtained from the alarm threshold and vertical speed of the aircraft during emission of the alarm such that adaptation of altitude change operation is carried out to avoid emission of new alarms, or is prevented, when a height separating the aircraft from the altitude level is equal to and greater than the activation level threshold, respectively. An independent claim is also included for a device for preventing emission of alarms by an anticollision system assembled onboard an aircraft, comprising an alarm emission detection unit.
