A coupling unit (9) is provided between the control unit and a radiofrequency signal input (11) to transmit the control component to the control unit. Radiofrequency signal outputs (12) comprise a transmission output for transmitting radiofrequency signals containing a direct current component to supply power to another multiplexing device connected to the transmission output. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an object monitoring installation comprising an antenna for transmitting radiofrequency signals (2) a method for monitoring objects.
