Zusammenfassung:The device (1) has a light source (3) i.e. LED, arranged in an inner side of a case (2), where the light source produces the light i.e. daytime running light (DRL). A case is placed in a sideview mirror (10) of a motor vehicle, and a mirror (4) is arranged close to the case. A reflector (6) is connected to the light source to reflect the light resulting from the light source. The reflector defines a cavity in a shape of paraboloid for receiving the light source. A support (8) is arranged in the case for supporting the light source. L'invention concerne un dispositif optique (1) pour véhicule automobile, comportant : - un boîtier (2), - au moins une source de lumière (3) placée dans le boîtier, cette ou ces source(s) de lumière étant agencée(s) pour produire un feu de type feu diurne (DRL), caractérisé par le fait que le boîtier est agencé pour pouvoir être disposé dans un rétroviseur extérieur (10) du véhicule, ce dispositif optique étant de préférence agencé pour produire uniquement le feu diurne.
