Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to the digital processing of signals, particularly for wireless communications. The invention relates to the use of an iterative calculation module (MCI) that executes, via a series of iterative operations, a fast Fourier transform (FFT) each time a Fourier transform must be executed, and to the use of this same calculation module for indirectly executing a filtering function with finite impulse response (FIR) via the frequency domain and while taking into account the fact that the FIR filtering function can be carried out by a Fourier transform followed by a multiplication by coefficients and followed by a reverse Fourier transform. The iterative calculation module essentially includes a butterfly circuit for executing certain additions, subtractions, and multiplications by a coefficient. The same circuit can be used for executing both FFT and FIR functions while reducing the overall dimensions thereof.
