Zusammenfassung:	The connector (10) has an electronic unit (12) generating information representing a state of an energy storage device. An electrical connection unit (14) is connected to the electronic unit and arranged for being connected to a complementary connection element, where the connection unit is provided with signal exchange paths. A support (15) carries the connection and electronic units, and is made into a single piece by molding a plastic material. A ventilator unit is carried by the support, and has an air permeable membrane i.e. gore-tex(RTM: waterproof/breathable fabric).
