The end of the ferrule is composed of circular sections, where each circular section has constant thickness around the ferrule. Au raccordement d'une virole extérieure (4) et d'un bras radial (5), le bord (12) du bras (5) est rendu concave (18) de manière à soulager l'extrémité (10) de la virole (4) des concentrations de contraintes quand elle est soumise à de la flexion.
