Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a method for fastening a motor vehicle roof panel (1) to the body (2) of a motor vehicle, said panel (1) being provided on each side with a free edge (14), said body (2) having an opening capable of being closed off by said panel (1), said opening being defined by a border (24), said border (24) and said free edge (14) being configured to form a channel (13) at their contact region. According to the invention, particles containing at least one metal are projected at a very high speed, for example supersonic speed, above a critical speed, into said channel (13) so as to fill said channel (13) and obtain a connection region (5) which joins together said border (24) and said free edge (14).
