A corrosion initiator component has corrosive ions in the fluid and accelerates internal corrosion of a heat exchanger made of aluminum or alloy of aluminum. The fluid has 100 and 1000 milligram per liter of glycollate ions or propionate, and has 100 and 500 milligram per liter of corrosive ions e.g. chloride ions, in the water. The fluid has 0 and 100 milligram per liter of oxalate. The fluid is liquid composed of 90 percentage of water. L'invention concerne un fluide de test de corrosion pour échangeur thermique, comportant :- entre 100 et 1000 mg/l d'ions glycollate ou propionate ;- entre 0 et 20 % en poids dudit produit choisi parmi la famille des glycols, tels que de l'éthylène glycol et/ou du propylène glycol.Elle concerne également une utilisation et un procédé de test avec le susdit fluide.
