Zusammenfassung: | The method involves fastening, with heat and under pressure, anchoring units (9, 10) provided on a frame of spectacles in a thickness of a thermoplastic lens (1) by deforming the plastic lens. The lens is made of polycarbonate. The anchoring units comprise conical projections (11, 12), rear backstop bases (15, 16) and axles (17, 18), whose transversal section surface is less than a surface of the backstop bases for maintaining a free space. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a machine for fixing a thermoplastic lens on a frame of spectacles (2) a frame and thermoplastic lens assembly for fabrication of spectacles.
