Zusammenfassung: | A device for measuring the gas flow rate in a pipe supplying at least one burner comprises (a) a calibrated orifice in the gas supply pipe and (b) a device for determining the gas pressure in the tubing upstream of the orifice (a). An independent claim is included for a pressure measuring method using the device, involving (i) determining the gas pressure (P) in the tubing upstream of the calibrated orifice and (ii) calculating the gas flow (D) crossing the orifice from the equation K = k.S.P (where k is a constant defined as a function of the nature of the gas; and S is the surface of the orifice hole).
