Zusammenfassung:	The piston (10) has a transverse wall (13) surrounded by a peripheral skirt (18) and including an internal cavity (30) containing a refrigerant fluid. The cavity has an annular part (32) that extends the skirt continuously on an assembly of its circumference, in a plan normal to a translation axis (V). An upper surface of the wall is hollow for forming a combustion seat (19). The cavity has a central part (31) extending partially below the seat. The annular part is extended around the seat. The skirt has grooves (20) to accommodate annular segments namely top ring (21) and oil ring (23). L'invention concerne un piston (10) de moteur à combustion interne comportant une paroi transversale (13) qui est entourée d'une jupe périphérique (18) cylindrique et qui comporte une cavité (30) fermée renfermant un fluide réfrigérant.Selon l'invention, la cavité comporte une partie annulaire (32) qui longe continûment la jupe périphérique sur l'ensemble de son pourtour.
