Zusammenfassung:	The device has a double acting jack comprising chambers (6, 7) supplied by hydraulic systems (8, 9). One system comprises a drain unit (110) provided for accelerated draining of the corresponding chamber towards a tank in response to a control action for a manual manipulation of an opening panel e.g. trunk lid, of a motor vehicle. The unit (110) comprises a discharge valve (11) placed on a conduit (33) that connects the chamber to the tank, where the connected chamber permits closing of the panel. Monitoring units are provided for measuring the pressure and comparing it with a reference value.
