Zusammenfassung: | The system consists of detectors (1, 2) for a vehicle engine's deceleration phase and engine temperature analysers to activate an exhaust oxidation catalyser reheater when the engine is within a predetermined temperature range (30 - 75 degrees C) and in a deceleration phase. The deceleration phase is detected when the fuel injection level is at zero for a predetermined period of time and its rotational rate is greater than its idling speed, while the engine temperature is determined from the temperature of its coolant liquid. The duration of the reheater's operation is controlled by a timer (4). |
