Zusammenfassung:	The method involves receiving measuring signal (U) with the help of electrical impedance measuring instrument fitted with electrode application at test person. Steps for stopping artificial respiration by increasing pressure or volume are applied. From resulting end-expiratory values of impedance measuring signals, a first reference value (U ref1) is calculated. During further artificial respiratory phase second reference value (U ref3) is computed from resulting end-expiratory value of impedance measuring signal. Difference between (U ref1) and (U ref3) is calculated and the difference functional residual capacity delta U(delta FRC) of test person is measured.
