Zusammenfassung:	The external component, designed to make contact with a patient's skin covering part of the body, e.g. following amputation, is made from different materials and based on digital data on the three- dimensional shape of the surface concerned and the hardness or softness of different areas. The data is obtained by means of magnetic nuclear resonance (MNR) or X-ray scans, providing an three-dimensional image of the area to be covered and the relative hardness of different zones, and is used to produce a mould. L'invention concerne un procédé pour réaliser un dispositif médical externe destiné à appareiller une partie du corps d'un patient, ledit dispositif médical externe comprenant une surface, dite « surface de contact », destinée à être en contact avec la surface de la peau du patient recouvrant au moins une région de la partie du corps du patient qui doit être appareillée, dite « surface de peau », ledit procédé comprenant les étapes définies dans la description.
