Zusammenfassung:	A portable terminal includes a display section for displaying a document, and a control section for performing a control. The control includes: dividing an entire display region or a partial display region of the display section into a first display region and a second display region; displaying a document which is generated under such an assumption that the document is not intended to be displayed on the display section on the first display region; extracting a character string from apart of the document displayed on the first display region; and displaying the extracted character string on the second display region.
