Zusammenfassung:	The system has a dilution estimation module (1) to estimate hourly dilution of a lubricating oil based on rotation speed of a heat engine, fuel flow and engine operating mode. An evaporation estimation module (2) estimates hourly evaporation of the oil based on the speed, fuel flow, engine operating mode, oil temperature and an overall oil dilution rate. An overall dilution is deduced from accumulated dilution and evaporation values. Ce système de détermination du taux de dilution d'huile de lubrification d'un moteur thermique de véhicule automobile, par du carburant d'alimentation de celui-ci au cours de son fonctionnement selon différents modes, mettant en oeuvre des post-injections, est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte des moyens (1, 2, 3, 4, 5) d'estimation de celui-ci à partir de cartographies (1, 2) de dilution d'huile par le carburant et d'évaporation de celui-ci au cours du fonctionnement du moteur dans ses différents modes et à partir de la durée de fonctionnement du moteur selon chaque mode.
