Zusammenfassung:	The system has a shield (3) including an armor plate and movably mounted on a guiding unit fixed on a target (1). The shield comprises a detector (4) for a threat (2), in contact with a control unit (5) controlling a motor unit (6) in order to move the shield for intercepting the target. The armor plate is of passive, reactive or active type. The guiding unit includes a rail or an articulation. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) an application of protection system for the protection of an opening or an optics of a vehicle (b) an application of protection system for the protection of sides of a vehicle, rooftop or lateral walls of a technical shelter or shelter, or of specific infrastructure. L'invention concerne un système de protection d'une cible 1 contre une menace 2, comprenant un bouclier 3 disposé au voisinage de ladite cible 1.Le bouclier 3 est monté mobile sur la cible à l'aide d'un moyen de guidage 7, et le système comprend un détecteur 4 de la menace 2 en relation avec un moyen de contrôle 5 commandant un moyen moteur 6 afin de déplacer le bouclier 3 pour intercepter ladite menace.
