Zusammenfassung:Cosmetically preventing or smoothing out expression lines or relaxing facial features comprises applying a composition containing a perfume to the facial skin. When 2 ml of a composition containing 0.5 wt.% perfume is applied to the skin between the nose and upper lip, trapezius muscle activity, as measured by electromyography, decreases by at least 0.1% compared with an unperfumed composition. Cosmetically preventing or smoothing out expression lines or relaxing facial features comprises applying a composition containing a perfume to the facial skin. The perfume is such that when 2 ml of a composition containing 0.5 wt.% perfume is applied to the skin between the nose and upper lip of a stressed human subject, trapezius muscle activity, as measured by electromyography, decreases by at least 0.1% compared with an unperfumed composition tested under the same conditions.
