Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:The display device comprises a display field (1) with at least one optoelectronic in particlar liquid-crystal display (2) in a surrounding field (3). The surrounding field (3) is formed of a luminous surface element (5) whose luminous density and colour distribution correspond substantially to those of the display surface of optoelectronic display (2), which is illuminated by transmission from a rear light source (4). The display device (claimed) comprises the luminous surface element (5) in the form of a light-guide plate (7) covered with a support sheet (8). A luminous field (9) of a symbol is formed on the support sheet (8) in a manner to correspond to the symbol contour and comprises a translucent layer (10) of higher density with vacuum parts (11) corresponding to the symbol, and a translucent black layer (12) on the front side. An opaque layer (17) is laid out along the same contour on the face of the luminous surface element (5) on the side opposite to an observer (6). A source of light (14) is provided in the form of a light-emitting diode (LED) with microside for introducing light into the light-guide plate (7). The luminous field (9) is illuminated by transmission from a source of light (16) mounted in a chamber (15) with the interior white cover walls. On the side of the observer, a cover plate (13) of coloured glass completes the device and serves to obtain the effect of black panel. In the second embodiment, the luminous field is on the rear side of the luminous surface element. In the third embodiment, the luminous surface element is a translucent flat source of light implemented in the form of an organic light-emitting diode (OLED). In the fourth embodiment, the luminous surface element is in the form of a flat organic light-emitting diode, and the opaque layer is on the rear side of it. In the fifth embodiment, the luminous surface element is in the form of a flat electroluminescent lamp with vacant parts for symbols. In the sixth embodiment, the luminous surface element is a translucent converter layer which converts ultraviolet light from a side source into light in the visible part of spectrum, mounted on a transparent support plate.
