The invention relates to a rotary switch (20) of the type that comprises a support (22) which rotates around a vertical axis (A) and which bears a conductive plate (24). The upper horizontal face (26) of said plate defines several strip conductors (28) in the form of ring sections (30) which are electrically interconnected. The inventive switch also comprises a fixed support bearing contact elements (34) which are offset radially in relation to one another and which are all intended to come into contact simultaneously with an associated strip conductor (28) in at least one determined angular position, such that the two contact elements (34) are electrically connected. Said switch is characterised in that the mobile support (22) comprises at least one annular isolating rib (46) which projects vertically upwards in relation to the upper face (26) of the conductive plate (24) and which is disposed radially between two adjacent rings (30).
