Zusammenfassung:	A bicycle dynamo has a housing (10) and a friction wheel (12) projecting from it. The housing is connected with a fastening arm (14) via an adjusting mechanism (16) for the fastening on frame or fork of a bicycle. The adjusting mechanism permits a pivoting of the bicycle dynamo about an axis that runs approximately parallel to the plane of the bicycle tyre, between an operating position of the bicycle dynamo where it touches the bicycle tyre with its friction wheel and a rest position of the bicycle dynamo where it does not touch the bicycle tyre with its friction wheel. The adjusting mechanism has a guide device with which the bicycle dynamo is guided during the pivoting.
