Zusammenfassung: | Integrated fuel pump/counter unit has casing (55) having an input (48) and output (49); a fluid flow axis (58,59) along which the fluid escapes; at least two endless screw rotors (50,52) axially extending along the fluid flow axis; a motor (54) rotating a single rotor (50) to make the fluid flow, a rotor rotation sensor (74) detecting the rotation of the rotor (52); a pair of pressure sensors (78,80) one at the input and the other at the output. The integrated pump has also a computer (40), for producing a volume flow signal, associated with the operation of the rotation sensor. The signal is used to display fuel distribution volume from the output. The computer also calculates the pressure difference between the input and output pressures given by the pressure sensors and generates the volume flow signal as a function of the rotor rotation and pressure difference. The computer can also generate volume flow as a function of viscosity, temperature and fluid composition. An Independent claim is also included for: (1) a method for simultaneously pump and measure fluid; (2) a fuel dispenser.
