Casement window or French window has opener frame made from aluminum and plastic extrusions

The window has a fixed frame (1) of aluminum with or without a thermal bridge break (5) and an opener (2) with its frame made from an inner aluminum extrusion (7) and an outer plastic extrusion (9). The two extrusions are joined together by a dovetail-section tenon on the plastic extrusion and a matching channel in the aluminum extrusion, and the width of the plastic extrusion is 1.5 to 3 times greater than the width of the tenon and smaller than the thickness of the glazed panel (10). The plastic extrusion has an L-shaped cross-section with the tenon on one branch and a groove on the other to receive a plastic or aluminum beading strip (12). La fenêtre ou porte-fenêtre comprend un dormant (1) réalisé en profil aluminium avec ou sans rupture de pont thermique et un profil (2) constituant le cadre d'ouvrant.Ce profil (2) est en fait un profil structurel mixte comprenant une partie interne en aluminium et une partie externe en matériau plastique.Le profil plastique (9) forme une coupure thermique à l'extrémité de la feuillure. Sa largeur est inférieure à la largeur ou l'épaisseur du vitrage ou panneau de remplissage selon le cas.Par ailleurs, le profil structurel de l'ouvrant est organisé autour de la chambre (25) dans laquelle se positionnent les branches des équerres d'assemblage d'angles, de façon à accueillir des vitrages ou panneaux de remplissage d'épaisseurs différentes par une simple modification de la position de la contrefeuillure (22), sans rien changer au gabarit dudit profil structurel.
