BETON POUR LA CONSTRUCTION DE CHAPES AUTO-NIVELANTES

Concrete contains a matrix containing 250-500 kg/m 3> organic and/or hydraulic binder sufficient to obtain above 18 cm in flow test, material filler of grain size 0.4-5 mm, water such that water/binder ratio is 0.2-0.4, water-reducing additive containing a deflocculant optionally combined with a viscosity index improver, and optional additives. Preferably, the concrete may include glycol as a shrinkage reducer, fibre additives, a setting retarder, an air entraining agent, an expansion agent, a hardness retarder, a setting accelerator, a water retaining agent, an anti-foaming agent,a water repellent, at least one agent selected from fungicides, algaecides, pigments and colorants, a thixotropic agent, an alkali-granulate reaction inhibitor, washing-out prevention agent, an adhesion improver, and waste. The concrete can also contain at least one additive selected from plasticizers, water-reducing plasticizers, super-plasticizers and thinners. The matrix comprises dump ash. An independent claim is given for a process of using the concrete for building floors of thickness 10-60 mm and of compressive strength above 45 MPa.
