Zusammenfassung:System has means (50) to intervene during successive auricular stimulation cycles by determination of the contraction time (QT) of the ventricle. Means (51) is also provided for determining differences in successive values of QT and means (52,54) for determining if this difference lies within an acceptable range. If QT variation is outside the range then auricular capture is assumed lost. An independent claim is made for a cardiac stimulator of a double chamber type for stimulation of the auricle.
