Zusammenfassung:The locator consists of an emitter (22) and two or three receiving coils (30, 31, 32) connected to a processor (2) measuring the amount of energy coming from the emitter and detected by the coils. The locator consists of an emitter (22) and two or three receiving coils (30, 31, 32) connected to a processor (2) measuring the amount of energy coming from the emitter and detected by the coils. The processor detects the amounts of energy received by each of the coils intermittently and for equal periods of time, and incorporates a threshold sensor to detect if the energy picked up by any of the receiving coils is above a set level. In addition the coils are able to signal the direction of the emitter in relation to their position.
