Zusammenfassung:Device for protecting electrodes used for dosing chemicals, measuring pH and similar properties, has a receiver containing a conservation fluid (3) and means of sealed closure of the receiver. This closure also acts as a support for the electrode sleeve (5) so the active or sensitive part (4) of the electrode is permanently immersed in the fluid. The receiver has a flask body in rigid or semirigid material, in particular glass or plastic. The closure is a plug which can be fixed in a sealed manner on the flask. The plug can be made of a rigid or semirigid material, such as a plastic like Bakelite and is fixed by screwing on the thread on the neck of the receiver, or a sufficiently flexible material that it can be fixed by clipping. The plug and the neck of the receiver act together to close and open with a joint which ensures the seal and which has in its center an orifice which allows the passage of the electrode sleeve. The joint is made of a material which allows the sleeve to slide through whilst maintaining the seal, particularly by compression of the thread. In particular, this material is a silicone ring.
