Air distribution arrangement for vehicle interior compartment

The air distribution system comprises an external half cylinder (1) having an air inlet (9) and several outlets. An air distributor (3) is located about a pivoting axis (10) inside the half cylinder. Pivoting of this distributor selects the openings in the side walls of the half cylinder through which the air penetrates into the vehicle interior. The air distributor comprises a cylindrical sector (4) mounted on the pivoting axis and a piece (5) formed from two webs (6) and a cross member (7) which extends along the axis. There are three openings in the half-cylinder side wall. The first (2a) is directed towards the windscreen, the second (2b) towards the occupant's feet and the third (2c) faces the compartment front.
