Zusammenfassung:	A method for preparing surface-active agents, wherein the plant material is contacted with a hydrolysis agent selected from an acidic aqueous solution at 20-150 DEG C and an enzymatic composition for hydrolysing a plant material at 20-90 DEG C to give a sugar syrup, a solid marc is removed from the sugar syrup, the marc-free sugar syrup is contacted with an alcohol to give a solution of surface-active glycosides, and the mixture of surface-active glycosides is separated from said solution. On utilise de la bagasse, des sous-produits du maïs, des sous-produits du sorgho, des sous-produits de l'orge, des sous-produits du riz, des fruits, de la pulpe de chicorée, des tubercules, du cynara comme matières premières pour la préparation d'agents tensioactifs.
