PROCEDE DE PREPARATION DE FORMES PHARMACEUTIQUES SECHES ET LES COMPOSITIONS PHARMACEUTIQUES AINSI REALISEES

Prodn. of solid dispersion (I) of a drug (II) in a hydrophilic carrier (III), ensuring improved solubility in aq. media and improved resorption in the digestive tract, involves (a) dissolving (II) in a volatile organic solvent contg. a highly hydrophilic cyclic amide as (III); (b) evaporating the obtd. soln. to dryness (pref. in a fluidised bed of air); and (c) grinding, sieving the obtd. coprecipitate and mixing with an excipient or carrier, or using the coprecipitate directly. Also claimed are a dispersion (I) obtd. by the process, in which (II) is progesterone (PG), metronidazole, piperacillin, cefur oxime, cyclosporin or itraconazole; and pharmaceutical compsns. consisting of the claimed dispersions (I) mixed with an excipient or diluent.
