Modular external-insulation elements for facade walls of buildings

The subject of the present invention is a set of prefabricated modular external-thermal insulation elements intended to be fixed to the walls of a building, comprising a prefabricated rigid carrier panel (1) made of material of the fibre-cement type lined with an insulating material (2) such as polystyrene or polyurethane, the bearing face (11) of which presses against the wall of the building. The prefabricated element (1) is made in a mould using a mortar reinforced with glass fibres, either sprayed into a mould or injected between the walls of a mould and a countermould; in its upper part and on one side of the panel, it comprises flat surfaces (3) serving to receive the flats (4) made on the lower and laterally opposed parts which fit together by juxtaposition of the elements. The thermal insulation (2) is fastened by adhesive bonding to the prefabricated panel (1), or expansion of the foam, and forms in its upper and lower parts a face cut at 45 DEG (9) directed upwards, allowing improvement in the protection against infiltrations. Spaces (10) are made opposite the upper fasteners for the panels, these spaces serving for passage of the upper fasteners for the said panels.
