Zusammenfassung: | The ring resonator (4) of this filter has the shape of a polygon, the sides of which are segments of light guides (12, 14, 16, 18) and the vertices of which are formed by mirrors (22, 24, 26, 28) optically connecting these segments to each other. These segments and these mirrors are formed in a semiconductor substrate (2). One of these segments (14) constitutes an amplifier for the light that it guides and makes it possible to compensate for the mirror losses. Another segment (18) makes it possible to tune the filter. The invention applies, in particular, to optical telecommunication networks.
Le résonateur en anneau (4) de ce filtre présente la forme d'un polygone dont les côtés sont des segments de guides de lumière (12, 14, 16, 18) et dont les sommets sont formés par des miroirs (22, 24, 26, 28) raccordant optiquement ces segments les uns aux autres. Ces segments et ces miroirs sont formés dans un substrat semiconducteur (2). Un de ces segments (14) constitue un amplificateur pour la lumière qu'il guide et permet de compenser les pertes des miroirs. Un autre segment (18) permet d'accorder le filtre. L'invention s'applique notamment aux réseaux de télécommunication optiques. |
