The jumper connector includes an insulating body and contacts retained in the body, these being accessible on the latter and fitted with an insulation-displacement (self-stripping) fork for connecting the leads of the jumper to each of them. It is characterised in that the body is constituted by a closed box (1) equipped with the said contacts (2, 3) and with two varistors (4) connected to the contacts, in which box a movable inner bearing surface (21) receives the inner ends of the contacts and provides the connection of the leads of the jumper in their insulation-displacement forks.
