Optical apparatus protection device - comprises transparent window rotated by motor and cleaned by fluid jets and wiper blade

A transparent window (2) covers the field of vision (15) of the optical apparatus (10). The window is movable for cleaning, and is rotated by a motor (8). The window is cleaned by a tubular ramp (20), parallel to the field of vision, with orifices (21) and flat jets (22) directed towards the window, and a fixed wiper blade (30). A pump (23) supplies cleaning liquid to the orifices. The ramp and orifices are located in a sealed chamber (24) having a semi-circular gutter (45) connected to a pipe (46) for liquid emptying.
