Zusammenfassung:	The power conversion system includes a battery (1) and a converter (2). The converter comprises a transformer with primary and secondary windings linked to a switch (3). The switch is able to establish connection between the external power supply (11) and the primary winding, and between the secondary winding and the battery.In the alternative switch position, the battery may be used in conjunction with the converter in order to provide a higher voltage to operate the vehicle.
