Zusammenfassung:	Substrates contaminated with toxic substances are decontaminated by contact with a compsn. based on a persulphate. Pref. persulphate is K2SO5, or a triple salt of formula 2KHSO5.KHSO4.K2SO4 when the compsn. contains less than 3 percent of K2S2O8. The compsn. is a soln. (pref.), gel or (mirco)emulsion. The molar ratio of K2SO5: toxic substance is above 20. USE/ADVANTAGE - The toxic substances are organo-S vesicants, and the substrate is human skin (claimed). The toxic substances are immediately totally destroyed on delicate substrates and without producing toxicity. L'invention concerne un procédé de décontamination de substrats contaminés par des agents toxiques à l'aide d'une composition à base de persulfate. La composition contient de préférence un sel triple de permonosulfate de potassium de formule 2KHSO5 . KHSO4 . K2 SO4 . Selon un mode préférentiel, la composition renferme moins de 3 % de perdisulfate de potassium. Application au traitement des matériaux fragile et des individus contaminés par des composés organosoufrés vésicants.
