Zusammenfassung:The boot lid lock consists of a keyed locking cylinder plus a supplementary bolt which acts on the lid in parallel to the lock and locks at safe when the lock is shut to prevent possibly forcible entry until released to open the lid. A springloaded detent prevents the bolt being set to safety when the lid is open until the lock has been placed in its flap-closed setting. The supplementary bolt (8) is pre-tensioned by spring (9) into its safety setting and is released by the lock (2) against the spring by a linkage with free-play connection (SV).
