Zusammenfassung:	The sequence of the unique short region Us of the Marek disease virus coding for the kinase protein. The invention also relates to the recombinant herpes viruses into which a heterologous gene has been inserted in the homologous region of the gene coding for the kinase protein, and particularly the recombinant Marek viruses expressing a gene of an aviary pathogenic agent which may optionally be a gene of another serotype of the Marek viruses. It also relates to a process for the preparation of these recombinants and to the vaccines obtained.
