Mould for manufacturing hollow metal components

A mould (1) intended for manufacturing hollow metal components of the ring (5) type by compacting and braising powders includes a mould body (2) carrying impressions (cavities) (3) extended by a housing (6) opening out at (11) and cores (8) placed so as to bear on the surface (9) of the housings (6). The powders are placed between the surfaces (4, 7) of an impression (3) and of a core (8). The core (8) consists of a machinable ceramic material of the natural pyrophyllite (pencil stone) type, having a linear thermal expansion coefficient markedly lower than that of the components (5) so as to compact the powders during the thermal treatment then, during cooling, to break through the effect of gripping of the component (5). Un moule (1) destiné à la fabrication de pièces métalliques creuses du type bagues (5) par compactage et brasage de poudres comporte un corps (2) de moule portant des empreintes (3) prolongées par un logement (6) débouchant en (11) et des noyaux (8) placés en appui sur la surface (9) des logements (6). Les poudres sont placées entre les surfaces (4, 7) d'empreinte (3) et de noyau (8). Le noyau (8) est constitué en un matériau céramique usinable du type pyrophyllite naturelle, présentant un coefficient de dilatation thermique linéaire nettement inférieur à celui des pièces (5) de manière à assurer le compactage des poudres lors du traitement thermique puis au cours du refroidissement, à se rompre sous l'effet de serrage de la pièce (5).
